I would like to see these things added/changed in newer features
if possible:

Improved Filter Right now i have ~30 mods or so installed and
seems like the filter does its filtering each time i type a letter
in. Its not a problem when searching for first time but when i want
to delete the search word with backspace it takes a good 5-10
seconds if its a long word ive written since it does the filttering
even when removing letters

Edit coreoverride mod details after installation I made a typo
in the name of the mod and i had to uninstall/install just to
change the it (name, not UID)

thats all i can think of now

kkentag:damodder.tenderapp.com,2009-12-02:Comment/7142122009-12-12T15:50:55Z2009-12-12T15:50:55ZDevelopment Roadmap

The filtering will get much faster when the new core manager is
in place. If it is still an issue then, i'll fix it, but I think it
will solve itself.

As for changing the details of installed mods -- in theory it
could be done, but nothing is really set up for it so i'll have to
think on that one.

jwvanderbecktag:damodder.tenderapp.com,2009-12-02:Comment/7142122009-12-12T19:08:25Z2009-12-12T19:08:25ZDevelopment Roadmap

Looks great so far, thank you for the update.
I guess i will play alittle with the game while i have time for it
=)
I shall be back when there is a new version to test.

Alex "Alexspeed" Bachnertag:damodder.tenderapp.com,2009-12-02:Comment/7142122009-12-12T20:10:03Z2009-12-12T20:10:03ZDevelopment Roadmap

I've been making really good progress on the new core.
Everything has come together for the most part in about half the
time I expected. As a bonus its about 1/4 the code of the current
system, easier to use, and faster :D

jwvanderbecktag:damodder.tenderapp.com,2009-12-02:Comment/7142122009-12-13T00:26:25Z2009-12-13T00:26:25ZDevelopment Roadmap

I just wrapped up pretty much the rest of the new core. There
will be little things here and there that pop up as I start using
it, but 95% of it is done. Reading and writing mods is working
perfectly.

jwvanderbecktag:damodder.tenderapp.com,2009-12-02:Comment/7142122009-12-13T00:26:59Z2009-12-13T00:26:59ZDevelopment Roadmap

Btw @kken, I just re-read your post.. when you want to change
your filter, double click in the box and it will instantly clear
the filter for you :)

jwvanderbecktag:damodder.tenderapp.com,2009-12-02:Comment/7142122009-12-13T13:28:47Z2009-12-13T13:28:47ZDevelopment Roadmap

Just tested the filtering with the new core, against 52
installed mods and its nice and snappy :)

jwvanderbecktag:damodder.tenderapp.com,2009-12-02:Comment/7142122009-12-13T14:16:09Z2009-12-13T14:16:09ZDevelopment Roadmap

great, cant wait for the next version =)

Alex "Alexspeed" Bachnertag:damodder.tenderapp.com,2009-12-02:Comment/7142122009-12-13T23:02:07Z2009-12-13T23:02:07ZDevelopment Roadmap

So I have the new core completely integrated and the old one
pulled out. I'm just going through and ironing out the bugs that
naturally happen after such a drastic change, and then once the new
core is pretty solid i'll be releasing a new version for you all to
find the bugs that I missed :) So barring some unforeseen problems,
the new version will be out tonight.

jwvanderbeck
