DAModder now supports markdown inspired formatting of descriptions

I like Markdown, I really do. Its a great thing that allows nice visual formatting in a text document, yet still allows that document to be easily read without the formatting.

You may have played a bit with Markdown here as this site uses it. Simple things like being able to make a word bold just by wrapping it in two asterisks, or italics by wrapping it in one asterisk. Easy lists by just using a single character. It is very nice.

I have put something similar into DAModder, so now mod descriptions can be formatted for a nice display using a small set of formatting codes. These codes, like Markdown, allow the text to be easily readable as plain text, but give that extra visual kick to it when seen inside DAModder.

What is even better is that some mods already use this formatting! The Stone Prisoner and Warden's Keep from Bioware for example have ordered lists in them, and Auto Loot by Pheelon has lists as well.

DAModder will currently support the following:

**bold** Two asterisks around text will make it bold

*italics* One asterisk around the text will make it italics

Ordered lists can be written as such:

(1) List item one
(2) List Item two

Inside DAModder it will be displayed as an actual ordered list like this:
1. List item one
2. List item two

Similarly unordered lists can be done:

* List Item One
* List Item Two

That is, an asterisk, followed by a space, followed by the text

  • List Item One
  • List Item Two

Attached is a screenshot showing how it looks with Auto Loot (Again the description of this mod was NOT modified by me in any way. This is simply DAModder parsing the contents and creating the formatting, like Markdown does).

    I'm looking at Auto Loot V1.13 in DAModder b1.9.1 and not seeing these results.

    Sorry, I should have said that its in, but not in the version you have. When I release 1.9.2 you'll see it.
